A picture is a story that is captured in an instant.  For many the result is often a memory that can last a lifetime.  What I love most about photography, and what I hope to share with you in my work,  is not what you see in the frame.  It is what you don't see, but get to experience in your mind's eye.  The smell of the sea, the sound of the surf, or the calling of birds.  In that instant, there is a world of sensory beauty that every person enjoys in their unique way.  

My preferred genre is outdoor photography, showcasing large landscapes, and variable light against contrasting backgrounds and colors.  My goal is to create memories.  Walk with me on the quartz sand beaches on Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key Florida at sunset and you will see, hear, smell, and remember what I mean.  

I approach each picture looking for beautiful light that I can share with the world.  Sometimes I get it right.
